TEAM LEADERSHIP

My journey at the Memorial Art Gallery began and ended with trust — trust in hiring me as an assistant for the Marketing & Engagement Department, having graduated from college two weeks before starting the position, and confidence when I was asked to lead the department as the Director of Marketing & Engagement three years later.

As the Director of Marketing & Engagement, I:

  • Supervised day-to-day activities of marketing staff

  • Managed department deadlines involving receipt of content and proofreading of final products

  • Set annual goals and objectives in accordance with the museum's strategic plan

  • Developed and managed public engagement, communications, public relations, social media, and advertising

  • Implemented brand promotion and marketing plans for all museum areas to strategize on audience analysis, branding, marketing channels, and expenses
